Peace</p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>A Gift</title><id>http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/7/22/a-gift.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/7/22/a-gift.html"/><author><name>Elliot</name></author><published>2010-07-23T04:34:52Z</published><updated>2010-07-23T04:34:52Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p>So I recently rediscovered writing music again.&nbsp; The feeling I fell in love with when I first start playing guitar has been rekindled.&nbsp; If you guys don't know me, then you don't know that I do music fulltime and I usually am doing it for someone else's vision.&nbsp; Being creative to a point, but usually providing a service for an outside persons vision.&nbsp; Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do, but there is something artistic in me that I've choked the life out of over the last few years of my life.&nbsp; It stops here!&nbsp; I wrote a song today with a little help from my wife, and am really excited about what came out of the whole process.&nbsp; I felt like I was doing what I was called to do, which is to worship my God through the gifts he has given me.&nbsp; It felt great and it felt honest.&nbsp; No worrying about writing for a specific mood or event, just pure artistic freedom to express myself from the heart.&nbsp; I am a changed man from this day forth, and will continue to write songs of freedom to the one who has saved my soul.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It is my goal in the near future to finish writing a few more songs with my wife, and put some songs out for all to hear.&nbsp; Our first project is to put out a 5 song ep and the rest will come in time.&nbsp; I am really excited about the stuff that we are writing.&nbsp; I think they are some of the best songs I have ever written.&nbsp; Hope you like them. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Elliot</p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>California Dreamin</title><id>http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/6/2/california-dreamin.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/6/2/california-dreamin.html"/><author><name>Elliot</name></author><published>2010-06-02T18:40:00Z</published><updated>2010-06-02T18:40:00Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p>Hello all.&nbsp; I am out in California for the next two weeks and am soaking up the beautiful California weather.&nbsp; I'm out here to play an event with a good buddy, see a friend get married, and produce a band.&nbsp; So far the highlight of the trip has been the weather.&nbsp; The other day and the past few days have literally been perfect.&nbsp; No seriously, it's probably comparable to the garden of eden as far as the temperature is concerned.&nbsp; I've also found my new favourite coffee shop, not because of the vibe, but because the coffee tastes so good.&nbsp; And the answer is, Peet's Coffee.&nbsp; Yes it rocks, "and if you gotta problem with that, well then, you can just fight me".(Nacho)&nbsp;</p>
<p>So now I wait for these events to unfold and come to fruition.&nbsp; Wish me luck in the battle of producing a record.&nbsp; Peace.</p>

<p>Elliot</p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>The Flood</title><id>http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/5/2/the-flood.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://elliotrichardson.com/blog/2010/5/2/the-flood.html"/><author><name>Elliot</name></author><published>2010-05-02T20:07:19Z</published><updated>2010-05-02T20:07:19Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p>So I guess we are reliving the flood here in middle Tennessee.&nbsp; 12 inches plus over the past day and a half, and the rivers have raised as much as 15 feet in certain areas.&nbsp; Crazy!&nbsp; I've never seen anything like this before in my life.&nbsp; Peoples houses have been destroyed, and this place will never be the same again.&nbsp; Since I am originally from California, the only I've had the luxury of experiencing is raging fires, earthquakes, and landslides.&nbsp; Oh, and storm watch alerts letting me know that it's sprinkling outside, and that I should be cautious.&nbsp; What's that about?&nbsp; Silly Californians.&nbsp; Anyway, I'm looking outside right now and it looks like I live in a rain forest.&nbsp; Lush green trees, humidity, birds flying around, and tons of rain falling from the sky.&nbsp; Ah!&nbsp; When is it going to end so that people can go about rebuilding what they've already lost.&nbsp; If anybody reads this, please pray for this area, it's pretty dang bad.&nbsp; Peace be with you.</p>
